Just what it sounds like: a collection of dreams recorded during the same timespan as the other Dreamscapes. Dreams are always a terrible bore to listen to, and maybe to read. Who can say? Tastes vary widely. But, regardless, they’re filled with liquid lyrical whimsy and a touch of subconscious yearning. Consider yourself warned.
Dreams
Das Boot (33)
In December of 1990 Jay spent several weeks sailing in the southern Caribbean with a cast of characters. These are their stories. Dum-dum.
Hello, NYC! (26)
Wherein Jay first heads to the big city and, mostly, tries to find a job, but also has some adventures, finds mayhem and high jinks, and some romance. Check it out.
Spring Broken (13)
In which Jay goes off the rails and irresponsible with several friends on that caterwauling freeform adolescent adventure known as Spring Break. Pages filled with silliness, hubris and self-satire.

The Subway Diaries (85)
After having completed the extensive editing process of all the Dreamscape journals, we feel qualified to announce this category as the best of the bunch. It's now 1996 and Jay has found his voice, his vision, and settled into the routine of journaling, first on the subway; then during his 2x bike commute across the park.
"Infused with energy, humor and some jolly good escapades, TSD renders with empathic charm what all-too-often becomes a soulless back-and-forth grind." -Eds.

Jury Duty (15)
Of all the dreamscape categories, this is probably the closest to a traditional "essay," and most removed from the filter of Jay's perspective and personality. So if you like your stories dry and informative (yet highly entertaining and a little thought-provoking) start here.
